Roger Bobo
Brass Legend, Virtuoso Soloist, World Renowned Teacher… These are just a few catch phrases associated with Roger Bobo. He is in demand world wide as a teacher of all brass instruments, adjudicator at major international competitions, and as a conductor. Roger Bobo curerently lives in Oaxaca, Mexico where he has founded the Oaxaca Brass Ensemble (OBE). Prior to Mexico Roger Bobo taught at the Musashino Academy of Music in Tokyo, Japan, the Fiesole School of Music near Florence, Italy, the Lausanne Conservatory in Switzerland, the Bern Conservatory in Switzerland, the Rotterdam Conservatory in the Netherlands and at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, England. He has conducted the Los Angeles Philharmonic, The Slovenian Symphony, the Greek Radio Symphony, the Trondheim Symphony in Norway and the Xalapa Symphony Orchestra in Xalapa, Mexico.
